As a perk of being my client, you get the benefit of knowing you have professional, dependable backup for your birth, should I ever be unable to attend.

The KC Doula Connective is a collaboration of independent KC doulas: Kelly Lipscomb, Mariam Self, Rebekah Hoover, Sarah Harris, Leah Fellers and Monica Drake. These doulas provide backup services to clients of the others in the Connective, should the need for a backup doula ever arise. We strive to support our clients in accordance to our values and priorities of faith, family, and service.

Your birth team is of upmost importance to us, and we want you to be comfortable that you will be well taken care of. The doulas in this group operate individually. We are NOT a group of doulas that share call. The doula you hire will absolutely attend your birth if at all possible. We ARE however, dear friends who meet and talk regularly to bounce around ideas and gain perspective.  We promise you are in the best of hands within our connective, which is the only one of its kind in the KC area.
